Happy New Year!

Hope the New Year finds everyone healthy and happy!

So, check it out. I may be a little slow coming to the party, but I've just had my introduction to the world of art journaling, and I gotta tell you, I LIKE IT! Art journaling is just plain fun! Even someone as artistically challenged as myself can put together a decent page using this wonderful technique. I predict a lot more of this style will be creeping into my layouts from now on. It is just so freeing to throw out all of the scrapping "rules" we all adhere to and go unstructured! On that note...

January Bits-N-Pieces at Scraps-N-Pieces are now in the store for a $1.00 each. You don't want to miss them this month! Karen, of Karen Diamond Designs, has outdone herself!

Second Chances is the perfect Art Journaling kit for everyone. No matter if you are a novice or a veteran, you are sure to find what you need in this spectacular kit. Karen lovingly designed each piece with her focus on helping you to start on your own art journaling adventure - and with the hope of ensuring you really enjoy the journey.

A word from Karen on Second Chances...

"As one year ends a new one rolls in starting fresh is on the minds of many. Saying goodbye to all the stresses and pain of the old year and saying a shy hello to the hopes and dreams that may come with the new year. This kit is called Second Chances. No matter who you are we all are given a second chance to make life the way we hope for it to be. This beautiful kit is my first jump into art journaling and I am very proud of the way it turned out. The words art journaling make some people want to run and scream. They just don't think they have an "artsy" enough personality. I am convinced that EVERYONE, especially scrappers have art in their soul. You prove every day with your layouts that you have the love of sharing your memories. Art journaling is a way to let that inner artist out. Each page speaks of your life in a poignant way. The colors, papers and pieces of this kit give you the tools you need to start sharing your journey, the good and the bad. We all have a story to tell and this kit is all about telling it."
